Lithology and Thickness

Shale overlain by sandstone. Composed of three units: a lower layer of alternating sandy claystones and ferruginous sandstones with plant and vertebrate fossils, a middle sandy dolomitic limestone layer, and an upper layer of claystones, friable sandstones, and occasional limestones.
